Recording Artist & Songwriter

Kerby Marcelin, also known as Lyrco, is a hardworking artist out of North Miami, Florida. From a young age, Lyrco has been familiar with the concept of resilience. His father and mother, both born in Haiti, taught him the concept of enduring rough journeys to find success. His parents from the beginning have inspired him; through his music he works to fulfill their legacy.

Lyrco attended Miami-Dade College, where he studied music and business. While attending, Lyrco started a group called “GoonieGoonz.” They performed at local venues in the Miami area, as well as, birthday parties.

Following “GoonieGoonz” came the formation of “Born Fly Die Fly” with fellow Miami artists Kroc and V.o.i.c.e. They all were members of the Emanuel Baptist church where they bonded over the mutual Haitian backgrounds. The group created an entire brand with BFDF including a logo, and plethora of merchandise. While the group still strives for success together, they each are given the freedom and support from each other to pursue their solo endeavors as well.

As a solo artist, he first performed at Miami’s Coast2Coast LIVE show in 2017.  Drawing influence from Nas, Biggie, Andre 3000 he built his personal sound and released his first independent eight song album “Shades of Gold” in 2018. In order to strengthen his promotional campaign for his solo work, he had numerous live performances following the release. He performed a variety of live events such as: Hit Factory Radio Showcase, Miami Live Venue, and The Office Miami Showcase. Continuing to perform in the Miami area, Lyrco has his work released on all streaming media outlets including: Spotify, Tidal, Youtube, and Amazon Music.
